What TCBA PAC does.

TCBA PAC is the political action committee of the Treasure Coast Builders Association. It exists so the people who build homes, roads, and businesses across Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties have a say in who gets elected to make the rules they work under.

Separate from TCBA, funded by you.

TCBA PAC is its own organization. Your association dues never touch it. It runs entirely on contributions from members and supporters, and those contributions are forwarded to Florida Home Builders Association PAC (FHBA PAC) rather than held locally.

Important notice: All PAC contributions are voluntary, deposited into dedicated political committee accounts, and comply with state campaign finance laws.

How the committee decides.

A committee of TCBA members reviews candidates for county and municipal office, looks at their record and their positions on permitting, fees, land use, and workforce, and votes on who receives support. Members hear the outcome through TCBA channels.

What the PAC does not do.

Clear boundaries protect member resources and preserve nonpartisan trust.

  • It does not endorse based on party.

Support is based strictly on candidate knowledge of the building industry, property rights, and fair regulatory practices.

  • It does not fund state or federal campaigns directly.

Local funds concentrate on local seats, county commissions, school boards, and city councils, where day-to-day building ordinances take effect.

  • It does not lobby.

TCBA staff handles government affairs. The PAC funds the relationships that make that work possible.
